We are looking for a Sustainability Expert who would like to be part of our international team.

Duties and responsibilities

The Sustainability Expert is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the PETS and environmental sustainability strategies, including GHG emissions tracking and decarbonization planning.
Leads sustainability reporting processes aligned with CSRD, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives data accuracy improvements.
Collaborates cross-functionally to achieve climate, circular economy, and responsible sourcing targets.

  • Contribute to the development, operation, and improvement of our PETS strategy.
  • Participate in the processes supporting the preparation of the Sustainability Report – including double materiality assessment and CSRD aligned data collection.
  • Follow national and EU legislative changes and contribute to their implementation.
  • Track and measure achievement of targets and performance against relevant PETS focus areas.
  • Cooperation with the procurement team to meet with our responsible sourcing related targets.
  • Contribution to greenhouse gas inventory creation and decarbonization strategy development, follow up.
  • Leading and managing our corporate GHG emissions calculation process and further improving data accuracy with departments involved.
  • Contribution to developing LCAs internally – with the support of software and/or consultants – in cooperation with procurement and product development/regulatory.
  • Prepares and presents analytical materials.
  • Track Environment related sustainability initiatives, projects, and programs as well as our related PETS targets and GHG emissions changes.
  • Knows and follows the changes in GHG Protocol, its FLAG related guidance and SBTi near term, long-term and FLAG target requirements.
  • Cooperation with all involved teams to meet with our climate impacts and circular economy related targets.
  • Support the work of the Head of Sustainability.
  • Support intern colleague(s) in his/her (their) work and integration into the team.
  • Strong and close cooperation with procurement, packaging, product development, regulatory, engineering/operations, supply chain, controlling and marketing teams.
  • Cooperation and communication with all other departments (eg finance) and with external stakeholders (e.g. consultants) when needed.
  • Support our marketing teams in being able to ensure that our packaging designs and onpack claims are met with all regulatory requirements.
  • Support our marketing teams in the preparation of sustainability related consumer brand communications.
  • Preparation of internal sustainability reports and presentations.

You are the right fit, if you have

  • University/college degree – preferred in economics/sustainability
  • Sustainability related studies are advantage, but not a must
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience, with a minimum of 5 years overall work experience preferably in sustainability/reporting/controlling/EHS
  • Experience in ESG consulting or ESG-related experience in a corporate is a strong advantage, but other relevant work experience is also welcomed
  • Solid knowledge of GHG Protocol and SBTi is essential; familiarity with ESG reporting (CSRD, ESRS, CSDDD, GRI) and related regulations (e.g. Green Claims Directive, PPWR) is a plus.
  • Fluent English language knowledge is a must
