Creating a workplace where diversity is valued and inclusion is embedded across all aspects of our organisation. We are committed to fostering an environment in which every colleague feels respected, appreciated, and accepted, regardless of background, identity, or lived experience.

We recognise that diversity goes beyond representation alone; it is about building a culture of belonging where different perspectives are actively welcomed and treated equitably. To support this, we are committed to implementing inclusive policies, practices, and behaviours at every level of the organisation, ensuring that all employees can be themselves at work and are free from bias, discrimination, or barriers to opportunity.

By embedding equity and inclusion into how we work, we aim to create a fair and supportive environment that enables individuals to contribute fully, supports collaboration, and strengthens our organisation through a diversity of ideas, experiences, and viewpoints.

Targets:

We are committed to:

  • Implement a transparent and equitable pay framework across all EU operations, ensuring compliance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive through salary range disclosure, gender pay gap reporting, and employee access to pay data by the end of 2026. Ensuring health and safety is not only a regulatory responsibility but a fundamental part of how we care for our people. At PPF, we recognise that wellbeing extends beyond physical safety to include mental health, prevention, and long-term resilience.

By prioritising safe working practices and well-being initiatives, we aim to create an environment where our colleagues feel protected, supported, and able to thrive.

Emotional Safety Training Programme

In 2023, we launched our Emotional Safety Training, highlighting real safety stories and demonstrating the impact of incidents on colleagues. The first phase focused on factory management and extended teams, and we planned to expand it to all factory employees. The programme aimed to raise awareness of workplace risks, reinforce safe behaviours, and encourage employees to take personal responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others.

By 2024, the programme became active at Veselí nad Lužnicí (Czech Republic), Città di Castello (Italy), Vårgårda (Sweden), and Białystok and Kalisz (Poland). It was designed to foster empathy, compassion, and teamwork, and encourage employees to support one another, proactively address unsafe behaviours, and take ownership of their own well-being.

Through this initiative, PPF strengthened a resilient safety culture, recognising that empathy, mutual care, and personal accountability were essential to preventing incidents and promoting adherence to safety standards across all sites. The programme also laid the foundation for ongoing safety improvements and reinforced the company’s commitment to protecting its employees.

Supporting the continuous growth, development, and engagement of our people is a core priority for us. We are committed to creating an environment that encourages learning, skills development, and long-term career progression, enabling our colleagues to reach their full potential.

Through targeted training, development programmes, and opportunities for professional growth, we aim to strengthen individual capabilities and build a resilient, future-ready workforce. By investing in talent development and fostering engagement, we support both personal advancement and the long-term success and adaptability of our organisation.

Increasing employee engagement is central to our approach, as we believe that when colleagues feel engaged and empowered, they bring their most authentic selves to work, fostering innovation, collaboration, and a shared commitment to achieving our goals.

Targets:

We are committed to:

  • Reach the top quartile of employee engagement levels by the end of 2030.

Achievements:

  • We have had more than 1000 employee engagement actions since 2020.
  • In 2024, we conducted a company-wide engagement survey, 91% of employees participated, and we achieved a 66% score, which is a 3% increase compared to 2023.
  • Learning & Development programmes are ongoing

Respect for human rights is a fundamental principle of our operations and business relationships. We are committed to upholding internationally recognised human rights standards and ensuring that our activities are conducted in a manner that protects the dignity, safety, and rights of all individuals.

This commitment extends across our own operations and throughout our value chain. We strive to prevent human rights abuse, promote fair and ethical working conditions, and address potential risks through responsible policies, due diligence processes, and ongoing monitoring.

By embedding respect for human rights into how we work, we aim to contribute to a more just, inclusive, and responsible business environment.

Targets:

We are committed to:

  • Train 100% of PPF’s leadership team on the topics of child labour, forced labour and human trafficking by 2027.
