We are looking for a Quality Project Specialist who would like to be part of our international team.

The Quality Specialist plays a vital role in driving PPF’s growth and profitability by ensuring outstanding quality performance across projects, processes, and products. This role supports the design and execution of the company’s quality strategy, reinforces the quality management system, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and food safety compliance.

Serving as a key link between project teams, plant operations, and central quality functions, the position ensures that all quality requirements are clearly defined, effectively implemented, and thoroughly verified.

Duties and responsabilities

  • Promote and embed a quality-focused culture across the organization.Contribute to the PPF Quality Strategy and lead quality aspects in development and optimization projects.
  • Ensure implementation of PPF Quality Standards and verify compliance through validation procedures.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
  • Oversee food safety requirements and coordinate risk assessments.
  • Define and maintain standardized processes, including audits, supplier management, and co-manufacturer controls.
  • Act as a quality expert for project, production, product development, procurement, and operations.
  • Ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing between project, QA, and plant teams.
  • Support crisis investigations with root cause analysis, data validation, and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate validation of new products, packaging, technologies, and process changes.
  • Assist plants in executing verification and validation procedures.
  • Use data and analytics to identify efficiency and quality improvement opportunities.
  • Tasks
  • Provide expert input on quality requirements, protocols, and implementation support.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, food safety standards, and internal requirements.
  • Coordinate validation activities for new products, packaging, and technologies.
  • Evaluate processes with data analysis to improve efficiency and meet requirements.
  • Maintain the QMS database and update documentation.
  • Identify and implement updates in procedures.
  • Conduct and document food safety risk assessments.
  • Support correct management of NIR in factories.
  • Assist in developing and validating sterilization processes for existing and new products.
  • Working conditions follow PPF country standards. Role requires presence at any PPF facility, with flexibility to support other plants as needed.
  • Travel to plants, suppliers, or company sites is required, representing roughly 30–40% of working time.

You are the right fit if you have

  • University degree in Food Processing/Hygiene or Quality Assurance
  • Fluent English (verbal & written)
  • 5+ years’ experience in a quality-related role
  • Expertise in NIR technology (calibration, maintenance, data interpretation, system management)
  • Knowledge of sterilization processes (validation, monitoring, documentation, regulatory compliance)
