You will be responsible for
General
• Responsible for the Supply Chain (SCH) master data in
PPF ERPs and other systems of assigned area of
master data.
• Responsible for the entry of master data, not for either
content or late input of source data from business side.
• Responsible for data validation in regards of consistency,
integrity, plausibility and accuracy of master data and
communicating any discrepancies back to the
business/project owner.
• Ensuring consistency, completeness, integrity and accuracy
of master data area in PPF organization assigned
by supervisor.
• Ensuring compliance of master data standards.
• Responsible for master data changes, processing and
overall maintenance of master data.
• Responsible for improvement of master data including
continuous data cleansing according to data cleansing rules
and in close collaboration with Demand Planners, Finance
and all who might be affected by deletion of data.
• Communicating with stakeholder as well as within the
MD team to ensure correct master data and processes.
• Pro-actively involving the entire organization to keep the
master data correct and show the importance of the
master data.
• Key contact for any master data related issues connected
with operations (incorrect master data for a
concrete product) and master data
development requests.
• Proactively gaining knowledge on the line of business in
her/his master data area as well as systems and tools.
• Responsible for testing activities in the master data area.
• Involved in redesign and delisting procedures based on
master data area assigned by her/his supervisor.
• Responsible or involved in overall process development
and improvements depending on the master data area
and assigned tasks by her/his supervisor.
• Standard reporting based on business needs.
Development and projects
• Deciding of a master data migration technique,
consulting with IT team, where necessary.
• Suggesting concepts, tools and techniques for
master data quality management.
• Participating on business projects, can be assigned
as master data expert for particular project.
• Responsible for trainings and consultations services
in the master data area to stakeholders.
• Responsible for master data process creation,
implementation and optimalization.
• Creating pro-active reports to prevent questions
and problems connected with master data set up.
• Responsible for structured master data analysis to
detect data errors, project non-compliance or
any other gaps in the master data area.
You are the right fit, if you have
• High school or university education
• Fluency in English
• Good command of Excel (functions, nested functions, pivots)
• Experience with SQL (select data from databases)
• Experience with Power BI including DAX
• ERP systems knowledge.
• Passion for data, strong attention to details,
self-discipline and strong understanding of data accuracy
and integrity needs.
• Organized mindset and ability to set priorities,
• Able to see through the process and understand
consequences of incorrect master data, can spot
if something is odd
