Partner in Pet Food (PPF) is an innovative, leading European pet food producer, supplying over 600 customers, including major grocery retailers, supermarkets, specialized pet shops in the 40 markets in which it operates. PPF is the second largest producer of Retailer Brand wet and dry pet food in Europe, offering a full range of high quality cat and dog food products. PPF is headquartered in Hungary, employs around 2.600 staff and has operations in 10 countries.
We are looking for a Forwarding Administrator colleague, who would like to be a part of our family-like international team.
You will be responsible for
• Carrying out work processes and administration activities within the company's shipping department
• Providing the administrative background of daily truck traffic with the delivery team and customer service
• Provision of UIT codes for shipments to the Romanian market
• Checks related to the UIT code, in particular, does the order recorded for the next day's loading include a registration number and a border crossing in the TSM
• Continuous monitoring of outsourced transport tasks, in case of problems additional consultation
• Daily, weekly or monthly preparation and updating of reports and statements related to deliveries and reports required by the shipping department
• If necessary, contacting new Partners and, after the agreement, connecting them to the PPF HU system in order to ensure smooth cooperation
• Completing tasks assigned by your workplace manager that do not require special qualifications
• Responsible for the condition of the equipment used in its area of operation
• He is responsible for the proper use of the machines, equipment, and tools he uses and for protecting their integrity. Mobile phone, computer, etc.
• Responsible for complying with the provisions of his job description
• Responsible for maintaining the good reputation of the company
You are the right fit, if you have
• Baccalaureate or other secondary education
• A minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in logistics and shipping
• Intermediate knowledge of the English language (use in writing)
• Advanced use of Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of Navision is an advantage
• Precision, monotony tolerance
• Good problem solving skills
• Flexible, loadable personality
• Character able to work in a team
• Knowledge of the Romanian language is an advantage
