Goal of the position
With your experience, you know how to build brands and campaigns that lead to commercial growth. You are responsible for identifying relevant brand challenges and turning them into market share growth initiatives, where you are in the lead. You know how to respond to the needs of both animal and owner with appropriate marketing building blocks. At PPF, the focus is on the beautiful Shelma brand but there are also other brands that require attention.
You will be responsible for
• Translate relevant insights into brand plans on communications, media, and activation;
• With the Sales team, translating commercial opportunities from business case to launch;
• Leading our digital marketing agency on strategy and development of media plans;
• Briefing & developing communication assets in collaboration with our agencies;
• Working with the Sales and Category Management teams and participating in pitches to clients;
• Measuring and reporting the performance of marketing activities and reviewing against targets;
• Monitoring brand performance and building to work increasingly data-driven;
• You have the opportunity to hire and supervise an intern.
You are the right fit, if you have
• Master's degree or higher in marketing, economics, commerce, business administration or equivalent.
• You are available for 40 hours per week, with the possibility of hybrid working;
• Our new modern office in Utrecht is easy for you to travel to for several days a week;
• You have gained 4-5 years of experience as a Brand Manager within FMCG, experience with the Retail environment for consumers in Germany, the Netherlands or, Belgium is an advantage.
• You have experience managing a portfolio of brands and independently drafting brand plans and leading multiple stakeholder projects;
• You have experience writing briefings for agencies and reviewing creative work;
• You have experience in planning and executing data-driven 360⁰ marketing campaigns (inc. digital).
• You are customer-focused, entrepreneurial and not afraid to set up and try new activities.
• You are results-oriented and analytically strong and know how to connect stakeholders well
• Strong communication and presentation skills (in English and Dutch)
