Partner in Pet Food (PPF) is an innovative, leading European pet food producer, supplying over 600 customers, including major grocery retailers, supermarkets, specialized pet shops in the 40 markets in which it operates. PPF is the second largest producer of Retailer Brand wet and dry pet food in Europe, offering a full range of high quality cat and dog food products. You will be responsible for
• Develop and implement the French sales strategy under the direction of the Country Manager
• Searching of new business opportunities, management of innovations
• Participations on key meetings with business partners
• Contacts with customers – VIP partners with the aim to build relationship and to optimize mutual business
• Receivables monitoring, steps leading to limiting due debts and to minimalize purge dates
• Prepare budgets and sets sales targets
• Formulate the business plan in volumes, turnover, sales budgets.
• Decide on variations in pricing, payment and other conditions
• Ensure comprehensive Market and Consumer Analysis
• Report periodically on progress and results, analyses developments and make recommendations
• Represent the company and maintain a high level of contact with important clients
• Ensure profitable growth of business focused on driving value management
• Coordinate work with other departments within PPF Group
• Give new ideas and input how to better improve the functioning of current processes
• Ensure that all business activities are conducted in an ethical, legal and lawful manner
You are the right fit, if you have
• Fluent English and Native French language knowledge
• University degree with focus on Business Administration, Commercial or Business Economics
• Demonstrated successful track record in a growing of sales revenue through the management of distributors / key accounts in an FMCG environment
• Previous Pet Food sales experience is a strong advantage
• Experience working for an international FMCG company
• Knowledge of network and experience on the French FMCG market
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Well-developed negotiation skills
• Strong commercial and business acumen
• The ability to work under pressure

• Do not mind travelling bi-weekly 2 or 3 days
