Product Manager – IKAM Team

We are looking for a Product Manager, who would like to be part of our international team.

The IKAM Product Manager is responsible as execution leader, working with commercial team during tender phase to provide the customer with a fitting offer that is in line with their requirements and leveraging the company capabilities. During this phase also detailed information on the recipe and packaging needs to be gathered and shared. External contact for commercialization phase, exchanging product information, coordinating the artwork review process and checking the artwork and providing project updates to the customer. The role includes providing detailed information on recipe and packaging to the customer, packaging artwork preparation and review, timeline management, daily communication with internal stakeholders, customers, packaging suppliers and printing houses.

Duties and responsabilities

  • Setting up and maintaining project timelines; following up on required actions, attending and leading project meetings, and engaging all stakeholders
  • Monitoring planning and communication within the project team
  • Being knowledgeable about the full range of PPF capabilities in packaging, recipes, production, and logistics
  • Managing customer portals with details on recipes, packaging, logistics, and all information required for product development
  • Checking artwork designs against legal requirements and technical standards to ensure successful production (and attending first print runs abroad if needed); liaising with suppliers
  • Coordinating palatability and shelf-life tests when required, organizing 1st production samples, checking 1st production samples, and aligning follow-up actions
  • Acting as the GS1 contact person
  • Initiating and managing process improvement projects
  • Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to portfolio optimization

You are the right fit if you have

  • Higher professional education or university degree
  • Preferably 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within FMCG
  • Experience with private label products is considered an advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • German language skills are considered a strong advantage
  • Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
  • Client-oriented, accurate, organized and result-driven mindset
  • Strong focus on time management
  • Flexible, cooperative personality with ownership attitude
  • Proactive, precise, and detail-oriented personality with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
