Customer Account Specialist (Dutch Speaker)
We are looking for a Customer Account Specialist, who would like to be part of our international team.
You are the key link between the company and customers, ensuring professional, service-minded support across order handling and inquiries. Your main task is to deliver best-in-class service to PPF trade partners and drive supply chain excellence through strong internal and external collaboration.
You ensure a smooth order-to-invoice process, clear communication, and timely assistance contributing to operational excellence and customer satisfaction in Western Europe. The role demands strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail, with the ability to connect the dots and understand the impact of events on both customers and the organization.
Duties and responsibilities
Operational activities
- Process and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently from receipt to delivery
- Monitor order status, coordinate with internal departments (production, logistics, planning), and resolve delivery or product-related issues
- Handle incoming customer complaints and ensure timely updates are shared on the progress
- Work in multidisciplinary teams to onboard new customers, contributing in masterdata creation and maintenance and work together with IT on EDI connection related topics
Reporting and analysis
- Prepare and analyse regular customer reports and inform key stakeholders (order status, performance KPIs, stock levels, etc.)
- Identify opportunities to optimize service levels and streamline operations
- Address deviations from planned performance and KPIs with suitable deep-dives and action plans to improve unsatisfactory performance;
Communication
- Serve as primary contact of the customer for daily order management, operational topics, reports, complaints, returns and requests.
- Built strong relationships with customers contacts
- Support the preparation and participation in customer meetings and reviews
- Ensure all customer data and communication is properly documented and embedded in company work instructions to ensure continuity
You are the right fit if you have
- University degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Communications, or a related field
- Fluent in English and Dutch is a must
- Proficient in ERP systems and Excel
- Hands-on approach with a focus on execution
- Strong initiative: from identifying problems to implementing solutions
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
- Clear communicator with a customer-focused, problem-solving mindset
- Strong planning and prioritization abilities
- Collaborative team player, proactive in building relationships across functions
- Comfortable working independently and within a multicultural, service-driven team
- Experience in customer service, sales support, or order management in B2B or FMCG is an advantage
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude
