We are looking for a Product Manager, who would like to be part of our international team.
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing product-related projects across both branded and private label portfolios, including new product launches and redesign initiatives. You will act as a key link between customers and internal teams, supporting the quotation process and providing guidance on recipes, packaging and product feasibility
This is a highly cross-functional role, working closely with Sales, Product Development, Procurement, Quality, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Project Delivery Management and factories across Europe. Your customer portfolio will cover Western European and export markets.
Duties and responsabilities
- Setting up and maintaining project timelines; following up on required actions, attending and leading project meetings, and engaging all stakeholders
- Monitoring planning and communication within the project team
- Being knowledgeable about the full range of PPF capabilities in packaging, recipes, production, and logistics
- Managing customer portals with details on recipes, packaging, logistics, and all information required for product development
- Checking artwork designs against legal requirements and technical standards to ensure successful production (and attending first print runs abroad if needed); liaising with suppliers
- Coordinating palatability and shelf-life tests when required, organizing 1st production samples, checking 1st production samples, and aligning follow-up actions
- Leading external project communication.
- Initiating and managing process improvement projects.
- Proactively proposing changes in current and future product portfolios of both customers and PPF to optimize PPF performance
You are the right fit if you have
- A bachelor’s degree; a background in petfood is a strong benefit. Export experience is a nice to have.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role within, preferably in an FMCG company.
- Experience with private label products is considered an advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
- Client-oriented, accurate, organized and result-driven mindset
- Strong focus on time management
- Flexible, cooperative personality with ownership attitude
- Proactive, precise, and detail-oriented personality with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel for first print runs at suppliers, to our factories, and to customers across Europe
