Mix Operator – Day Shift at Partner in Pet Food, Doetinchem

What will you do?
As a Mix Operator, you will work on the mixing line, ensuring that the machines receive the correct blend ratios. You’re curious about the entire production process — from raw materials to the final product — and continuously seek ways to improve efficiency and quality.

After internal training, you’ll be able to operate the machines independently, ensuring the correct quantities and quality standards are met. You’ll work in a small, close-knit team responsible for supplying our five packaging lines.
As a Mix Operator, you take ownership. If a product doesn’t meet quality standards, you adjust the machine settings yourself. In case of malfunctions, you first attempt to resolve the issue independently. If needed, you collaborate with the technical team to find a solution — allowing you to continuously expand your technical knowledge.
Your responsibilities include:
- Ensuring production schedules are met.
- Monitoring the mixing process and collecting samples for quality control.
- Performing basic maintenance on mixing equipment.
- Recording production data and reporting deviations.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Complying with hygiene and safety regulations.
You’ll work a flexible day shift, with working hours between 06:00 and 20:00, depending on the production schedule.
Who are you?
- MBO level 2 or 3 (secondary vocational education) with relevant technical and/or food-related knowledge.
- Experience as an Operator in a production environment.
- Familiarity with mixing processes and related equipment.
- Accuracy and attention to detail to ensure product quality.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
What we offer:
- Competitive salary: starting at €2,700 gross per month, increasing up to €3,800 including potential shift allowance and a fixed 6% bonus.
- Performance bonus: earn up to €1,224 annually by achieving your targets.
- Permanent contract opportunity: offered upon good performance.
- Additional benefits: 8% holiday allowance, minimum of 5 weeks of vacation, and a solid pension plan with 75% employer contribution.
